In 2012, she became the first dentist in Australia to be conferred the prestigious Masters in Aesthetic Dentistry, graduating with distinction from King’s College in London.

Dr King has a thirst for education and continually improves on her knowledge in dentistry and other holistic therapies aimed at enhancing patient wellbeing. Currently she is completing her post-graduate studies in Orthodontics to add another qualification to her impressive resume.

Originally studying and practicing dentistry in Western Australia, Dr King’s passion for cosmetic dentistry brought her to Melbourne where she founded the Cosmetic & Laser Dentistry Centre in June 2000. For over 30 years, she has not stopped learning new skills and keeping ahead of the latest technological advancements in modern dentistry.

Dr King is an honoured Life Member and Diplomat of World Congress of Microdentistry, and also a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, as well as a member of the Academy of Laser Dentistry. She is one of our best cosmetic dentists at CLDC.

Dr King is responsible for introducing exciting technologies to Australian dentistry, being the first to utilise, in surgery teeth whitening, intra-oral cameras, and the first dentist Australia-wide to routinely use the WaterLase and Hoya-ConBio DeLight soft and hard tissue lasers.

She is also an accredited trainer in Laser and Minimally Invasive Dentistry, and has recently been made Clinical Director for GlamSmile Porcelain Veneers in Melbourne, Australia and New Zealand, being the first GlamSmile Accredited Dentist, she is also responsible for training dentists from around the world.

In 2019, Dr King was invited as a keynote speaker at the World Dental Forum to present on her ever-advancing philosophy of minimally-invasive aesthetic dentistry.

Dr King and her work have been showcased in mass media including television, fashion magazines, newspapers and radio.

CLDC is the first dental practice I have been to where I genuinely feel cared for. The whole team are amazing. The guys at reception are so friendly and especially Tony and Chloe have made me feel so relaxed and at ease. Deb needs a special mention as she gave me the confidence to go ahead with such a huge procedure. She explained everything and it didn't matter how long I took or how many questions I had. She even called and texted me before and after my surgery to make sure I was ok!I had all of my upper teeth removed and replaced by implants. Dr Houman Larijani was amazing. He is clearly extremely experienced and talented in his field and I would recommend him to everyone that needs implants. He is so patient and gentle. He always explained everything carefully. Nothing was rushed and I loved that he saw me on day one, performed the surgery, and saw me at every appointment. I have never written a more deserving review. I went to Dr Yvonne King after a lengthy search for a reputable dentist in Melbourne. I wanted to get ill fitting composite veneers (applied at a different dentist) fixed. Dr. King didn't just fix the veneers, she removed them and restored my natural teeth to something I can barely recognise as my own they are so beautiful. To have a dentist give me advice on all my options including restoration of my natural teeth, not just more expensive veneers is rare & priceless & I'm extremely grateful. The team at the clinic are all as lovely as each other, welcoming, professional and so kind as I cried from happiness in their reception area! I had my 1st consultation with Dr Yvonne back in 2019 for porcelain veneers. Unfortunately i wasn't ready to go ahead with it due to my life circumstances at that particular time but I knew that when I was to decide,I would only go back to CLDC.
